It was time for the annual Oscar night at Skifreshies. Instead of the usual duo of Kiwi and Speed Racer, it was a full house this year. After a long and fabulous day of xc skiing during Chocolate Fest, we prepared a scrumptious meal and got the bubbly flowing.Some Skifreshies put on red carpet glam, one impersonated an award nominee and yet another did his best to portray a red carpet host (though with much better hair and questionable 'accessories' added to give larger than life effects). Armed with our Oscar ballot selections, we sat riveted to the screen as winner after winner was announced. The race for Oscar Savant was a tight one - a nail biter that came down to the very last award. In the end, despite some formidable opponents, Speed Racer came out victorious, once again reminding all that when it comes to the Oscars, she is queen.

Those are some hard accusations from miss Kiwi, clearly fueled by her swollen ego and cocky attitude that she tends to exhibit on Oscar nights!!
